Water in air cooled engine oil?

There is water in the oil of my engine drive welder (lincoln ranger 8 to be exact) how did it get there since it is air cooled and how do I get rid of it. It also has a hard time cranking if it sits in rain uncovered and spits water out of the exhaust when it is turning over ,but how is it leaking into the oil from the exhaust? Is that possible?Water in air cooled engine oil?
you can get water from the carb or the exhaust.also if you don't run your engine long condensation can build up in your engine oil.Water in air cooled engine oil?
