I don't think so because the enviro wako movement has been anti oil for too long to admit they were making a bit fuss about not much. They will cry wolf about something completely different though.





For the next big scare, the end really will be nigh and we really will be heading for an environmental catastrophe and people will believe it. Some of us will point out that people have been eroneously predicting environmental disasters for at least the last two hundred years and this time doesn't seem to be any different. Industrialisation and environmental alarmism seem to be inseparable.So now that the Earth is cooling, are the enviros whining to burn MORE oil and coal?

Let me tell you how wonderfully intelligent you sound! Sitting on the sides, criticizing scientists who have dedicated their lives to understanding the climate. It is a large and difficult problem. But I guess you know so much more than they do? I guess that's why you're on Yahoo Answers bad mouthing them and they're publishing their findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Earths climate has been warming %26amp; cooling for billions of years...We are currently in a general warming trend though


there have been some cooler years recently in some areas.


Mans contribution to this warming trend is probable.


Big Algore, the Jesse Jackson of environmentalists, is hyping global warming and making a fortune...

Man will adapt and be just fine whether it gets warmer or cooler...He may just have to move around a bit like he always has...
No. There's only a limited amount of fossil fuels anyway, so we may as well use less now so we know better how to do without when the time comes, and also to make that time come later.





Note that I didn't even need to relate to the unsupported premise that the Earth is cooling.

I remember 25 years ago Time Magazine had a big article about global cooling. I knew it was a lie then. Just like I know global warming is a lie now. Now global cooling is coming back. Sad thing is there are actually people that believe this nonsense.
There's no cooling. That's why you have no evidence to show any.
