Yes they do help keep the engine cool but I couldnt tell you by how much especially in Celcuis I deal with Farenhiet. If the cooler is run thru the radiator like it would be from the factory it will be the same as the coolant temp. An external cooler will still cool the oil but not as well as the cooler run thru the rad. For optimal cooling run an eternal cooler inline after the rad cooler.

Rallye 1.3 oil cooler?
How importat is tha oil cooler for the rallye's? Do they help the engine to drop more temperature, and if they help, how many degrees (in celsious) do they drop?Rallye 1.3 oil cooler?
