Kawasaki GT550 and Zephyr 550 oil cooler diffrences?

My Kawasaki GT550 has a standard oil cooler which is 3/4 smaller than a ZR550 zephyr, yet the engine is the same(except for a shaft insted of chain). Which is the better oil cooler to fit?... the smaller one, to keep the oil temp up at running temp and help the engine to warm up better.

Or the zephyr one, which i think will mean the engine will need longer to warm up, but offers bigger area to cool the oil.

The reason why i ask is that i have come to change the hoses on my GT550 to discover the one is seized on and even with a blow torch wont undo(seems to want to snap off at the oil-coole side).

I have a zephyr one lying around whihc im tempted to put on, but not if it means compramising running and life of the engine.Kawasaki GT550 and Zephyr 550 oil cooler diffrences?
I'd fit the zephyr one, early quack oil coolers had more rows packed closely together but they tended to clog up so the later ones are spaced more loosely.

The z550 engine was run with no oil cooler, a tiny one on the 550f, a slightly bigger one on the gt, bigger again on the zephyr and biggest on the gpz550, none of the bikes overheated or emulsified the oil due to over cooling (like the gpz750) so I wouldn't worry about it!Kawasaki GT550 and Zephyr 550 oil cooler diffrences?
I think there will be no problems fitting the larger coolers, just make sure you smear copper grease on the fittings to make sure you don't have the same problem again.

Ja.
Too complicated for me
