Bad oil cooler or blown head on 924S?

Here's where I'm at鈥rove the car and noticed it was hot. Checked and found the coolant level was usually low. Refilled all the way. Next day ran hot again, coolant level was down and there was oil in the reservoir. I checked the dip stick and it only had oil on it. However, there was some white frothy stuff in the oil filler tube. I fired it up once more to check the gauges. Oil pressure is fine, idol is okay, feels strong still. My hope is it's just the oil cooler. Anyone think it could be the heads?Bad oil cooler or blown head on 924S?
OH MY GOD...I just had this problem with my 924s...i took it to a shop which did not fix it then i took it to Porsche and it cost me several thousands to fix.....take it immediately to Porsche ..I mean NOW...if you don't than a simple 800 dollar job will become 3 thousand...i really mean it...The Porsche 924s, 944, 968 were known for having several problems with their cooling systems(Oil Cooler Seals) which broke all the time.....take it now ..seriously dude...really...TAKE IN NOW to the dealer.....i MEAN NOW.......and no your head gasket is fine.....it the seals and the oil cooler....i am like 100 percent sure....and now you probably have oil in your cooling system...and you might not see it, but there is coolant in you oil system...so your engine is being lubricated with coolant and oil ...so TAKE IT IN NOW....just tell the dealer and they will know how to fix that.....Bad oil cooler or blown head on 924S?
It sure sounds like a blown head gasket or cracked head or cracked block. The frothy oil is a dead giveaway that there is water in the oil. Coolant loss without any visible leaks is also a obvious sign. I would check a couple of things before I removed the head. First check the compression or better yet a leak-down test. Secondly a Combustion Gas Detection of the air coming out of the radiator will tell you if there is combustion gases escaping from the cylinder.
