i bought one of those high preformance air intakes with a reusable filter. and i know that you have to oil it up everyone and a while...but i dont know i what type of oil to use...

Not all manufacturers require oil on their re-usable filters. And if they do, only use the specific oil specified by the manufacturer. Never motor oil. Go on the manufacturer's website and they should have instructions on how to properly clean and maintain your air filter.
got to ur local autp parts store and tell then u need the oil for a reusable air filter.they should know what u need and have it.
