I have a honda beat 50cc 2 stroke oil injected, water cooled scooeter, it will start and run fine but no power

what do u think this could be? thanks for your helpI have a honda beat 50cc 2 stroke oil injected, water cooled scooeter, it will start and run fine but no power
Okay, what do you mean no power.

Are you starting it in the morning, afternoon, what?

And does it idle in a satisfactory manner?

Have you recently had the CVT belt replaced?

The spark plugs, you have checked them, and they are clean and you remember when they were last replaced? If not go do that and come back. We'll wait.

You are back.

And you have checked the various filters and such? The tank usually has a filter with the petcock that may be clogged, if it had bad gas in the tank or it ran for a while on reserve. Has yours been running on reserve lately?

Is the choke opening and closeing correctly, that is when you pull the knob out does it close off the air supply, or not? when you push it in, does it leave the air intake open? Your air filter, has it ever been changed. It sounds like a breathing problem, either on intake or on exhaust. Is you exhaust pipe plugged partially or wholly?

When was the last time you had the carbon blown out of the 2 stroke, (did you every take it out and wind the h*ll out of it?) (Almost said a bad word there! Wow!

I am not all that familiar with the nuances of 2 stroke behavior, but I think it may be obstructed in some way, on the exhaust side, or possibly on the intake. If the choke is on and does not go off, that would make it feel like no power. (Think of how well you would work if a big wad of waste paper were caught in your throat.)I have a honda beat 50cc 2 stroke oil injected, water cooled scooeter, it will start and run fine but no power
Possibly no compression. A top overhaul (rings, hone) might help.
Am not familiar with your particular scooter, but sounds like if engine is running fine, your clutch is slipping, therefore losing power.
Can you get more specific? It runs, but the transmission won't engage or the engine isn't powerful enough?
Check the air cleaner - scooters don't like to run with dirty air cleaners.

Clogged exhaust pipe - common with 2 stroke scooters.

Clutch slipping (scooter clutches do ware out).

Worn out top end (cylinder, piston %26amp; rings).

2 stroke engines require rebuilds quite often.
