How do you get burnt oil off motorcycle cooling fins?

I use a bit of diesel oil and a stiff brush, then wash it down good after the goop is free. Good luckHow do you get burnt oil off motorcycle cooling fins?

Gunk engine degreaser (available at all auto parts stores).

That's what it's made for.

To clean oily, greasy, grimy, dirty engines.

Spray it on, let if sit for a few minutes, hose it off.

It does what it's supposed to.How do you get burnt oil off motorcycle cooling fins?
simple green, let it soak about 15 mins, then hose it off using a soft brush?
gunk spray degreaser, get the engine warm, spray it. then hose it off.
I used engine-brite cleaner today, and just followed the directions. Sprayed on, let it sit for 15 minutes then washed off with H2O. Then I used a flat butter knife wrapped in a thin rag to wipe excess gunk off between the fins. Worked great, and no adverse effects. I think simple Green would also definitely work. Engine-brite might be a more aggressive cleaner.
