Im getting a hose at the auto place to replace my broken trans oil cooler line but I dont know the size to get. They said I need to find out if its 5/16'; or 3/8'; how do I find out the size?Transmission oil cooler line?
Just bring the hose you are replacing with you.Transmission oil cooler line?
You could phone a Dealer perts dept and ask what size are the cooler lines on my paticular vehicle.
Or trans repair shop would work also.
Or measure them with a micrometer
Buy a length of both sizes. I'd get ';fuel injection hose'; because it's much tougher and designed to last longer. The best clamps are fuel injection hose clamps (rather than standard worm drive clamps).
