I own a shop, and have done this job before. I had to remove the front wheel, and the inner fender well to get to most of it. Use a 1/4'' drive ratchet set with a long extension, and a wobble if you have to. You may even have to remove the engine mount to get to it, but the best I remember the last one I did, I had to jack the engine up, remove the mount, and went through the fender well. It doesn't take very long to take it out, it just looks like its hard to remove, but it will give you some working space. It might could be done without taking this out, but there just isn't much space the other way, and if its 4x4 then you don't have any space. I had too run an extension all the way from the front to the back of the engine, and that is why the mount had to be removed, its right in the way.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!How do you replace the oil cooler line on a chevy?
it depends what truck but its fairly simple but you have to lift the engine a bit to manuver it out. if i were u and i tell this to everyone who wants to doit thereself got to autozone and buy a book about your truck. its the best thing to do and read up on what it takes. good luckHow do you replace the oil cooler line on a chevy?
