How reliable is a well maintained oil/air cooled 1500cc motorcycle engine VL1500. How many miles should it go.

i had a 2003 three vl1500 that i absolutely loved. I sold it because i kept seeing people getting hit at red lights and through no fault of their own. i decided that i would get off the road until my son was raised. as far as how far it will go, if you maintain it properly and take care of it, it should have no problem getting 70 -100 k miles.
